Mount Sentinel Little League is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. Our league serves over 400 children in the community. It takes a lot of teamwork to run this league efficiently and effectively. Our board members work year-round, while many others give time between March and June.

All volunteers that are working directly with the children (coaches, assistant managers, dugout parent, etc) within the Little League organization must fill out a volunteer form EVERY YEAR. If a volunteer is spending time in the dugout or helping out at practices, that individual must submit a volunteer application and go through the background check process. Once this form is run through the background check system, you are cleared and ready to help. Information on Little League's background check policy is posted, as are the volunteer application forms - volunteer application. The completed application and copy of driver's license can be emailed to our volunteer coordinator Keri McHugh at [email protected].
In addition to the administrative side and the manager/coaching responsibilities, there are many other ways that parents can contribute their time to help our league. We realize and appreciate that some parents have more time to give than others. That's why we appreciate any time that is given. Opportunities to contribute in this way can include the Field Clean-up Day (tentatively scheduled for April 18th) or as a Team Parent organizing snack schedules.
