*Intermediate/Junior/Seniors-Registration fees will be waived until we know how many teams we can put together. If/when teams are established, then registration fees will be due at that time.

Registration Fees Include:

Online registration starts January 5, and ends March 31 for T-Ball and Minor B, and March 18 for Minor A and Majors. Early bird registration ends February 28 for all divisions. Registration can be paid by credit or debit card only via the online registration system. In person registration is not available; if you need assistance with the registration process, please contact [email protected]. Scholarships are available. Information on how to apply for a scholarship can be found on the MSLL Website.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS:

All participants must either reside within or attend a school located inside the Mount Sentinel Little League (MSLL) boundary. Detailed information can be found in the Registration section on the Mount Sentinel Little League website. The boundaries for MSLL eligibility include areas south of the Clark Fork River, east of Russell Street until South Avenue, and east of Brooks Street.

IMPORTANT: All forms required for the registration process are listed below and on our website. Please upload these forms to the website during registration or email them to [email protected]. Signatures from school officials are not needed for these forms, as they will be obtained by the league.

SEASON FORMAT:

The 2026 Mount Sentinel Little League Regular Season runs from April and culminates in an end-of-season playoff the first part of June. Divisions are T-ball, Minor B, Minor A, Majors, Intermediate, Junior, and Senior. Skills Assessment for Minor A, Majors, Junior, and Senior divisions are not mandatory but are strongly suggested and are held in March.

Playing Up: 8-year-olds may sign up or try out for Minor A, and 10-year-olds may sign up or try out for Majors. However, signing up or trying out does not guarantee selection to play in these divisions. Players interested in "playing up" must attend an in-person skills assessment to determine their eligibility. Several factors are considered when deciding if a player can move up to the next division, including overall registration numbers in each division, as well as the maturity and skill level of the individual player. Each player will be evaluated on their skills, with final selection determined by the coaches. 8-year-olds and 10-year-olds who are not selected will be placed on a waitlist and notified if openings become available during the season. If not selected, they will be placed on an appropriate Minor B or Minor A team, respectively.

Player League Age: Your player’s league age is determined by the Little League Baseball age charts. The age determination date for a player is the actual age of the child on August 31 of the current year. View the 2026 age chart here.

Skills Assessments: A skills assessment for all Majors and Minor A players is held in order to evenly place the players on each team the coaches need to see the skill level of the players. Players are never cut from the league.

Make-up Skills Assessment

Location: Dale Clawson Complex at Playfair Park

Tryout Time: The make-up skills assessment will start at 6:00 and run through each age group, beginning with 8 year olds. Please arrive 15 minutes early to get registered.

Team Selection

Players will be notified electronically of team placement shortly after Team Selection takes place.
